💫 Check out these beautiful Atlantic Cowries we found snorkeling in the Florida Keys!

All I remember is Captain Johnny saying… “head for that big blue hole!” 🤿 So… I did just that and it was a bit freaky because that big blue hole was deep and loaded with all sorts of big a$$ fish! 😆 It certainly paid off though, because that’s where I found this big beautiful cowrie which I believe is a Juvenile Atlantic Deer Cowrie.

Raquel and I have wanted to find a cowrie since moving to Florida over 5 years ago!! Shell Camp Florida Seashell Tours made it happen! 😊

We think the medium sized cowrie is an adult Atlantic Deer Cowrie and the smallest, a Yellow Atlantic Cowrie. If you know more based on the pics, please drop some knowledge! We’re so stoked to add them to our collection!
